300ft LED Screen Takes Centre Stage At Re:Invent 2017
If you’re looking into bespoke LED displays at the moment, you need to take a look at what went on at Amazon Web Services’ re:Invent 2017 cloud user conference, the sixth annual cloud user event in the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.
According to AV Magazine, there was one feature of the event that really made a big impact on venders and attendees at the conference – a 300ft LED screen with walls left and right of the main one that were each 60ft long.
The event itself attracted around 43,000 people, all there to find out more about data and server-less computing.
Michael May, vice-president of account management with WorldStage which provided AV support for the event, commented: “AWS re:Invent is a big show and the audience keeps growing every year. This year it took me a full minute and 15 seconds to walk from one end to the other of the keynote session’s primary upstage LED screen. It was huge!”
This kind of LED display is perfect for events because they’re highly engaging, brilliant at grabbing people’s attention and can deliver whatever messages you want very effectively indeed. These screens can playback and display text, video, images and live data – but on a big scale so no matter the size of your event, you know you can find a screen that will suit you perfectly.
It’s worth noting as well that LED screens won’t be washed out by bright lights, so you don’t have to worry about people not being able to see what’s being displayed.
