LED lights adorn Dutch nightclub
A club in the Netherlands is reported to be the only one in Europe which uses LED technology for nearly all its lighting.
Club Devo, in Goes, recently had LED lights extensively installed by Lighting Science Group Designs.
LED technology was incorporated into a variety of surfaces such as wall and bar areas.
Furnishings were also installed with the innovative technology meaning that the venue's cube-shaped tables and stools glow with LED lighting.
The club's walls and dance floor have video images of animations beamed on to them.
Oscar Meijerink and Justin Clarijs, managers of Club Devo, reported that they chose LED technology due to the quality of the light produced.
"We chose LEDs for our lighting needs because of the technology's architectural and entertainment aspects, as well as the incredible, sophisticated light quality," said the managers.
David Vincent, a club owner from Manchester, recently revealed that he chose LED lighting for his new venue, Spektrum.
