Natural History Museum LEDs

New LED Technology has been developed to enable the Natural History Museum to be it by LEDs.

Police in the UK are following police services in the USA using digital billboards to fight crime.
British police services in Yorkshire have been using mobile Digital Billboards to carry community relations messages into suburbs and appeals for information on missing and wanted persons. Police services can now reach highly targeted groups of people who have previously been difficult to reach due to location, language issues and social influences.

First Commercially LED lit building Opens in USA

Marvel Food has opened its new store in Auburn , Washington State. Opened in June 2009 this is the first commercial new build to be fitted exclusively with LED’s. The 16,000 sq.ft deli uses LED lighting for both internal and external illumination.
With LED lighting reducing energy consumption by as much as 60% the supermarket industry worldwide is embracing LED lighting technology. As well as energy costs maintenance costs have also been saved.

Eiffel Tower celebrating 120 years using LED's

A spectacular light display will be shown on one façade of the Eiffel Tower from the 22nd October through to 31st December. Over 400 RGB washlights have been used to clad the Trocadero side of the tower providing spectators with a magical display.
This latest technological installation offers higher performance and lower running costs than the traditional lighting already installed in the Tower.

LED screen wraps BT Tower

The BT Tower has been crowned with Europe's biggest LED screen, as part of the build-up to the 2012 Olympics. Floors 36 and 37 are now wrapped in a 59-metre-long screen built from more than half a million individual LEDs spread over an area of 280 square metres.
The screen is so luminous it can be seen from space at full brightness, the organisers say, and the words it displays will be legible throughout the city's West End.
