What Is An Anti-Burn LED Display?
If you are looking for bespoke LED displays for your business, then chances are that your older technology has let you down.
New Year is always a good time for you to think about what technology would serve the needs of your business best, and invest in that for the coming year.
If you have been running a business for a long time then you will have seen very rapidly changing technology needs in your landscape. If you have been providing information displays for decades, then you will probably have heard of burn in.
Burn in was a concern among television and computer consumers during the 80s and 90s when it was a big problem. It was caused by non-uniform use of pixels across a screen, which would over time ‘burn’ onto the monitor.
When plasma screens were first made available this was again, a significant problem. A lot of technology has advanced to reduce this problem, such as monitors which switch the pixels every couple of seconds, the use of screen savers or moving images.
However, one of the best ways you can reduce the risk of screen burn is to make sure you use proper commercial screens. Television screens will come with the added risk of screen burn as they are simply not designed to be used for as long as commercial displays.
Commercial displays do not need a sleep mode, or necessarily need to be turned on and off as a television would.
